Unable to unload MadWifi module

Aditya Bhave
Hi,

For some reason, Im not able to run the script madwifi-unload inspite of
sudoing.

ayb@AdLenovo:$ sudo ./madwifi-unload
[sudo] password for ayb:
sudo: unable to execute ./madwifi-unload: Permission denied

Any reason why this should happen?

Thanks
regards,
Aditya Bhave

The message comes from sudo, not from anything inside madwifi-unload.
Perhaps madwifi-unload doesn't have executable permissions.  Or maybe
there are some other restrictions in the sudo policy.

You could try running shell explicitly:

sudo /bin/sh ./madwifi-unload
